Many worlds were born into the multiverse. Many different worlds with many different stories. This just happens to be one of the worlds that exist at the end of many other worlds combined into one. Souls were broken apart and rebuilt and given a second life. Many made the world a better place on this go around. One being had worked and toiled to make this world into its current state of near perfect balance. This being was called the Watcher and those of her race were called the Negated.

The Negated, a band of near omnipotent beings who do not dabble into the realms of man and their spirits. They exist to only maintain the balance of the Soul Cycle and would only step in should the cycle ever get to the point of collapse. Yet this is not the place for the stories of these omnipotent gods. It is the stories of the man and women who fought and died inside of the garb of a Shinigami, Arrancar, Quincy, and Fullbringer. This place is a place of stories for you to create.

:: Major Events of the Realms ::

4500 Years Prior to Current Events - The first Quincy emerged to protect humanity from the hollows. The first early references to the Hollow Queen are carved by early quincy artisans in Egypt. Alongside this the myths of the Negated are circulated in the Seireitei and Rukongai by both of the large settlements of souls.

3250 Years Prior to Current Events - The First Quincy order is founded in Mesopotamia. This order also discovers the first Fullbringers and assists them in conquering their inner demons and becoming a force to help the world at their side. Resentment begins to stew as the Quincy order treats them as second class citizens.

In the world of the dead the beginnings of the Gotei were starting to form as a centralized form of shinigami was set up and zanpakutos were readily available to all those that could wield and use a sword. This was a mostly lawless time and the only areas of stability were controlled by the 12 noble houses. Six families grew to power in each of the two cities which were named Takama and the second Gahara. The six of Takama were the Kuchiki, Shihonen, Shiba, Tsunayashiro, Kasumioji, and Fong. The six of Gahara were the Aozaki, Murano, Kamishiro, Demizu, Bradford, and Tsukino.

3000 Years Prior to current events. - The resentment between Quincy and the Fullbringers finally boiled over and a war started between the two factions. The two cities of the shinigami joined opposing sides of the war. Gahara joined the side of the Quincy and Takama joined the side of the Fulllbringers. During the war two people began to stand out. Yamamoto Genryusai and Xiaoyu Demizu stood at the forefront of the war and the two of them would begin to negotiate a peace treaty. This war lasted nearly fifty years in total but the war would end with the Treaty of White Castles.

2950 Years Prior to current events - Xiaoyu Demizu and Yamamoto Genryusai are named Soitaicho of their respective Gotei. The Gotei portion of the treaty involved both sides respecting the oceans as their borders. The portion between the Quincy and Fullbringers was the creation of a council between them to mediate all future issues. This also happened to be the very first interaction of the Gotei at large with the forces of the hollow queen.

2500 Years Prior to current events - A large explosion created the massive divide in the middle of the wilds of the Rukongai separating Takama and Gahara from one another as a bridge was being built between them. This chasm was to be known as the Dangai Abyss as it seemingly never ended and no single source of the explosion nor who caused it has ever been found. Superstition reigns that it was the last time the Negated did anything to any of the three realms.

2000 Years Prior to current events - A splinter faction of the Quincy enacted a plan and attacked Takama. Calling themselves the Sternritters they fought and nearly destroyed the Gotei of Takama but thanks to the efforts of the taicho of the time they defeated and their leader was seemingly killed. At the same time in Gahara a contingent of the Sternritters attacked them and were soundly defeated by the tactician of this Gotei with her schemes and the tenacity of a single shinigami captain to whom was given the name of the Lightning Queen.

1500 Years Prior to current events - The bridge between the two sides of the Gotei has been completed and commerce began once more between them. A squad was formed just to guard each side of the bridge with neither having jurisdiction on the bridge itself. Instead a small group of civilians patrolled the bridge and brought any who would cause an issue to whichever side was closer to the incident.

300 Years Prior to current events - A civil war erupted between the corrupted politicians of the upper house of government in Gahara. During which Xiaoyu Demizu lost her leg and retired from the position of Soitaicho leaving it open for her successor to take over for her.

250 Years Prior to Current Events - The Sternritter returned to Takama and attacked the Gotei and their Central 46. Killing the Central 46 and a large portion of the Gotei but in the end they were saved by a force from the human world and Gahara. Killing the Sternritter to the last man and allowing the Quincy that had not turned against them to reform the Order that had been there beforehand.

The story of Heuco Mundo goes back just as far as that of the other realms. Inside of its endless expanses of sand there are tales passed down from rulers of it to others. Tales of an elder Vasto Lorde, one so ancient they had seen the emergence of the first Menos into the Menos Forest. One that had seen the first Arrancar emerge from the Menos themselves and was there to show how to evolve beyond that point. Yet this Vasto Lorde did as many within the sands would over the millenia and that is to disappear. So the many cycles of consuming souls, becoming Menos, evolving their way out of the Menos to be Arrancar with the emergence of their own swords of power, to finally surpassing even the need for the sword and becoming a Vasto Lorde. The cycles of Heuco Mundo have never been disrupted in its millenia of use.

Before 3000 Years Prior to Current Events:

There are minimal records from before this time passed down. Only the ‘Hollow Queen’ herself has any stories from before this time and all she mentions about the time was how all of the Vasto Lordes got into a large fight and only she emerged victorious after having partaken of all the others' flesh. None have been able to prove nor disprove what she had said as false to this day.

2900 Years Prior to Current Events::

Shidare Sun the ‘Hollow Queen’ stakes her claim over a large swath of the Sands to the North of the Menos Forest. Allowing Hollows to live and be themselves within her lands as she was disinterested in any but the strongest of the strong. Occasionally fights would break out involving her. One such fight involved her stopping an expeditionary shinigami and quincy with a show of force and brutality. Since then none have dared cross into the sands without notice or tribute.

1500 Years Prior to Current Events:

For nearly a millennium and a half the Hollow Queen reigned without any contenders. Until Barragan and his army arose in the East from the Menos Forest. In the first meeting between these two massively powerful being there was a fight within Shidare seemingly lost and instead of fighting to regain her throne she vanished into the endless expanse of the sands. There are rumors she survived and is still out there plotting.

750 Years Prior to Current Events::

In a show of force Barragan killed the two other strongest Vasto Lordes within the sands. With this act Hallibel left his area of influence and ran into the former Queen of the Sands. So began the seeds of a rebellion against Barragan.

50 Years Prior to Current Events:

Barragan was taken down from his high pedestal through the return of Shidare Sun alongside several other powerful Vasto Lorde level hollows that did not like him lording over others any longer. This army fought against Barragan’s army with many casualties on both sides. Barragan was killed upon this day and his soul annihilated by the leadership of Shidare’s Army. After this fight Shidare slipped away once more into the distance of the sands.

World of the Dead: Soul Society

The current status of the Realm of the Dead: Shinigami is this.

Inside Takama: Takama is still reeling from a massive invasion from the renegade Sternritters. Many of their captains were killed and yet they survived. Many of those from Takama stepped up and became even greater then they had been before. Their Seireitei is currently being rebuilt and the Rukongai was mostly spared the carnage from the war that was ended. Currentlky Takama is at peace with Gahara's Soul Reapers thanks to their intervention inside of the Sternritters assualt and the peace that Yamamoto Genryusai and Xiaoyu Demizu created many millenia ago.

There are many spots open for people to come and step up and lead Takama into an even more prosperous way of life.

Inside Gahara: Inside of Gahara there has been a titanic shift in power recently. With the long time Soitaicho's retirement catching many off guard. Hirato Murano was named Soitaicho inside of her retirement speech. With that Xiaoyu Demizu graciously stepped aside allowing Gahara to grow without her influence. Many of the captains stood up in her absence and carrying on her dreams as they came to the aid of Takama. Helping their allies inside of their moment of need. Now they are starting to step up patrols of the human world in order to alleviate stress on the Takama shinigami.
