Physical Description

Head - Adoring her crown, She has long flowing pink hair that extends down just past her shoulder blades. Her hair is usually draping down in front of her however on her right side.

Torso - On her chest, She wears a heavy metal breastplate that covers everything from her left shoulder to her right shoulder. This breastplate is connected via chain links to her shoulder pads.

Waist - On her waist she has a plate belt that is connected to her Breastplate directly. This plate belt has a short loin cloth that extends down and out far enough to cover her loins. This also has a feathered half-skirt adorning her left hip that, If she would be standing still, Would cover from her waist down to her ankle on her left leg, Essentially covering her entire left lower half.

Shoulders - Her Shoulder pads protect her shoulders and are designed for flexibility and designed so they do not restrict her arms in anyway but offer maximum protection for her shoulders.

Hands - Her hands have metal gauntlets slipped on that extend just below her shoulder pads leaving a small amount of a gap between the metal gauntlets and her shoulder pads. The elbows are unrestricted same as her shoulders to offer maximum protection and little to no restriction in movement. She also wears a plate buckler on her left arm that has been known to block Shikai-Level blades.

Legs - On her legs she has full plate protection right up to her Mid-thigh in the front and just above her knees in the back. The downward curve is only slight but drops down to a much steeper angle halfway. The plate above her knees and below are connected to the knee plate pads via a chain link.

Feet - Her feet are protected as well by the full plate adorning her legs and is connected directly to the plate underneath her knee. The joints near her ankles and bottom of her feet are loosened only slightly to offer maximum protection while offering little restriction.

Personality Overview:

Loyal - Quite possibly the most loyal and dedicated Shinigami since Yamamoto himself. Kimiko has a strong loyalty to the Gotei, Her loyalty for the Gotei is rivaled only by her loyalty to the Sotaichou, Xiaoyu. She has never once gone against the laws of Soul Society and refuses to even contemplate the thought. She remains faithfully loyal to the Gotei, Soul Society and above all else, Sotaichou Xiaoyu. There isn't an order that Xiaoyu could command that she would not carry out faithfully and obediently and without fail. She has been around since only a few moments after Xiaoyu became Sotaichou and her age represents her experience completely. She uses all of her experience from her countless battles flawlessly and to enable her to carry any order out without fail.

Fierce - She is as fierce as she is loyal, Having never once been beaten in battle by anyone she has fought and most of the time she seems to be able to do it without even being hit. Her skill and speed represents her fierce battle prowess well, And she brings her fierceness to every aspect of her life as well, Whether it is upholding Soul Society law or battling Hollows. If she is involved, You can expect that fierceness to be present at all times, No matter what the circumstance.

Protective - She is also exceedingly protective, Not of just the Sotaichou, But every single Shinigami in the Gotei. She has never been seen giving up on any Shinigami, Regardless of the situation. She has always protected the Sotaichou above all else, Followed very closely by the Gotei, Soul Society and ALL of her fellow Shinigami. There isn't a single Shinigami she wouldn't lay her life down for to protect.

Caring - When not in combat, She has a very soft and caring side for anyone of Soul Society, Whether they live in the Rukongai or in the Seireitei. She is skilled in both Kidou as well as every other aspect of her life, Making her caring side very valuable to her and helping her to take care of anyone she can as fast as she can without fail. Whether it's rushing someone to the Fourth Division Hospital or performing emergency healing on the spot until they can arrive, Her skill extends to all aspects of life.

Intelligent and Quick Thinker - Along with her Loyal Fierce and Protective sides, She is an intelligent and quick thinker, Letting her follow any situation easily and letting her figure out solutions to problems much faster than most. This talent aids her both in battle and outside of battle.

Dedication - On top of all her other wonderful traits, She is highly dedicated to anything and everything she puts her mind towards. Whether it be a task assigned to her directly by the Sotaichou, Or whether she's taking it upon herself, Or even if a 'Lesser' person has asked her too help, Her dedication enables her to help, Protect and survive in any situation no matter the circumstance.

Fearless - Her Dedication and fierceness in combat has made her one of the most fearless Shinigami that Soul Society has ever seen, Regardless of her foe, She will never back down from a fight. She will fight to the end with all she has, Even if she has no hope of winning. Her Fearless nature has let her win multiple fights that she otherwise might not've been able to win.

Kenpachi - Mostly a self-dubbed title then anything, She has been heard referring to herself as 'Kenpachi Nobunaga Kimiko many times in battle. Though she isn't offically the 'Kenpachi', The number of people she has killed to protect Soul Society, A Shingami, Or a Rukongai Citizen makes it so very few people actually want to challenge her for this Self-Dubbed title. Though this isn't to be mistaken, She doesn't use this often, Only when she needs too get through someone's thick skull with words instead of her blade.

Prideful - This is probably both her biggest flaw and her biggest asset. She is very prideful in everything she does, Se carries herself ith an aire of confidence and pride that is rivaled by only Kuchiki Byakuya's prideful nature. This, however, can prevent her from doing something that might not be wrong. While this never stops her from following any and all orders given to her hy the Sotaichou, This can stop her from sparing a proven innocent person simply because she was ordered to execute them by the Sotaichou. Let it never be said that she has ever been unsuccessful in completing a mission set upon her by the Sotaichou, Regardless of what it is and regardless of right or wrong.

Life as a Child in the Nobunaga Family

Childhood for a Lesser Noble isn't as hard or easy as a Greater Noble. It doesn't have all the benefits that a Greater Noble has and they aren't as wealthy either. All in all some might say being a Lesser Noble sucks hard in comparison. That isn't always true, Especially not so for Kimiko when she was but a young girl. When she was young, She was treated almost as a Queen by some standards. Kimiko had been set up for life, Her family had already decided on a spouse for her when she grew of age and she had been fine with that. However, When she began watching Shinigami spar at the age of 8 her entire world began to change. She began to become rowdy, Began arguing with her parents and refusing to marry the man they had arranged for her. She told them she was going to become a Shinigami the moment she became of age and if they tried stopping her, She'd run away and do it without their blessing. She began training in private, Away from her parents and daily. Her parents had began to grow suspicious of her after 2 years of her doing this and forced her to stay home and with an escort. Because she was so young, She really couldn't outrun or out-muscle the escort she was assigned. Because of this, She was forced to end her private training and resume her normal boring dull life as a Lesser Noble of the Nobunaga Family. She came to resent her Mother and Father, Telling them that she hated them several times and never apologizing for it. For the next 3 years this continued, Her doing the same thing every day and hating her Mother and Father despite them saying 'It's for your own good! Being a Shinigami is dangerous and it'll kill you'. She didn't care for it. When she turned 13, She ran away. She waited for the cover of night fall and climbed out her window. She ran away and didn't return or ever try to contact her parents.

She ran away with some food and a bit of spare money that she stole from her parents when they had been away one day. She ran into the forest where she had been training before and began her training once again, Only returning home under the cover of night to steal food away from her parents once her money ran out. For the next 5 years she trained in solace, Never showing herself anywhere too long or more then once. Because of this her parents thought her dead and when she re-entered the Rukongai to get food, She saw that in the news paper, The headline reading *LESSER NOBLE RUNAWAY PRONOUNCED DEAD*. This crushed her more then anything and she wanted to run back to her Mother and Father to show them she was alright but... Then she remembered why she had run away and refused to go back. Since then she had begun wearing a hood over her head whenever she was in public to hide who she used to be. Because of this, She 'faded away' into the distant past and stopped going to her parents house for food, Instead stealing it, And when she couldn't do that, She killed for it. She trained in solace for several hundred years, Fading away into the darkness as she bought her time to enter the Shinigami Academy. She had to be sure she was ready for it because when she did enter, Her identity would be revealed and she had to be ready to fight and potentially kill whoever tried stopping her and it was a good thing too. When her true age hit roughly 221, She entered the academy to register and try and gain entry. She had on armor she had a blacksmith craft for her along with a ragged hooded cloak. When they asked for her name, She froze. But she did tell them, She had let the cloak fall down and looked up at them and said her name: Kimiko Nobunaga, Lost daughter of the Nobunaga House. Her hand had already been on the blade she had when she said it and it was a good thing because she was surrounded almost immediately by gawkers. She was ready to defend herself, Ready to kill anyone who dared to try and drag her back to the life she had before.

She had caused a lot of trouble when she ran away and she wasn't proud of it. She had been forced to run away or be forced to marry someone she didn't even know, Let alone love. She wasn't allowed to leave until her Parents had gotten there but when they tried touching her, She backhanded her Father into the wall. She didn't accept them, Not after everything they had done. She told them to go away or she would discard the name: Nobunaga forever. She told them that she was going to become a Shinigami even if it killed her, That she wouldn't live as a Lesser Noble if that meant she had to do what she was told for the rest of her life. She refused to return to that life while she drew breathe. When they didn't leave, She told them if they didn't she'd kill them where they stood without a second thought... And that got them to leave without her. She wasn't accepted right then, But it was only a few weeks before she was.

Life in the Academy

In the Academy, Life was as hard as it always was. She trained everyday and did everything she was told to become a Shinigami. During the first 5 years, Everything seemed to be going great. She was performing at the top of her class and she seemed to be set to enter any Squad she wanted to aim for without a problem. For the first 5 years of her Shinigami Academy Life, She was on top of the world. She had a high going that she had never experienced before. The training she had done by herself was great... But in comparison to the training and high she got here... It was unlike anything she'd ever had before. Her Training was absolutely wonderful, Her Asauchi had become her Zanpakuto by her 6th year and she had her Shikai at only 7. In her 8th year, Everything started going downhill. She had started to spar now that she was in her 8th year, For most that wasn't a problem, But for her it was huge. She had killed every time she fought before and yet... Now she had to restrain herself so much. Her spars often turned very violent during the first 2 years of them, It was difficult for her to control herself. She couldn't do it, No matter how hard she tried. To restrain her natural instinct when she fought was something she'd never even considered before so to be forced to do it now was... Well, It was hard. For those first two years she had to stop the fight herself after only a few swings because her lust from the past few hundred years welled up so much she was about to act on it. Needless to say her spars never lasted long because of this. She meditated everyday almost 3x as long as most of the other Shinigami to try and get a grip on her past. Her Zanpakuto Spirit helped her out a lot with this, She let her fight her as much as she wanted. Kimiko was greatful for this, It allowed her to relieve the lust built up inside her even though she never won (Or lost) against her. Her Zanpakuto Spirit merely allowed her to fight and attack as she wished, Never counter attacking, Only dodging and blocking. She allowed a few hits through and acted surprised each time (And sometimes it was genuine).

After the first two years of this, She began to get some restraint. She began to actually began to be able to spar against others for longer and longer, Able to complete full sessions by the 14th year. She had trained hard the past 14 years, Training her Shunpo, Zanjutsu, Shikai, Kidou, Everything. She focused on not one thing but everything. She spent more time training then most others and only really slept about 4 hours a day or so. This did of course, Take its toll on her body. With such little sleep her body couldn't perform at its best and when she graduated, It truly started taking its toll.

Life as a Shinigami

She had been placed into the First Division but she became rather ill just a few weeks afterwards. Her lack of sleep had weakened her instead of helped her. She took sick leave and rested until she was fully healed and when she was, Returned to a normal sleeping and training schedule. She trained when she wasn't out on a mission, When she was on a mission she did everything she could to ensure it's completion. She quickly became known as the only Shinigami in the entire Soul Society to have never lost a fight, Her incredible speed, Strength and Determination made for a very deadly combination when she was fighting. That all combined with the use of her Shikai made her, to some, Unbeatable. She was first heard introducing herself as "Kenpachi" about 50 years after she entered the First Division though nobody has been able to figure out why. Though it is rarely used by her, She has been heard introducing herself as "Kenpachi" 5 times in total, Though she has in fact, introduced herself as "Kenpachi" 7 times. It is a title she doesn't use lightly or allow herself to be called outside of combat simply because she has not killed the previous Kenpachi. That aside, Her first 100 years as a Shinigami of the First Division had run rather smoothly. After she got over the illness she inflicted upon herself she began training normally but still very vigorously.

Her training extended far beyond the standards of any normal Shinigami, She was always seen coming back with multiple cuts and bruises and a few times gashes. She always intensified her training to twice as much as the previous day. She did this to ensure she was top notch and that everyday she'd get stronger. While most Shinigami sparred against each other every day, She only sparred against those stronger then her and only when she thought she was ready to show she was stronger, which wasn't often. She honed her Shunpo, Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Kidou, Everything. No matter who she fought, no matter what she used, It always seemed to be top notch for her level and rank and she always made herself get stronger. Despite the fact that she fought stronger opponents, She always seemed to win. Her flawless execution of her Shikai techniques at precise times and seemingly perfect use of Shunpo, Zanjutsu, Hakuda or Kidou always seemed to be perfectly placed to ensure she did the maximum amount of attacks or damage while taking as little as possible. In her spars, She either never took damage from her sparring partner, Or took very little. While she isn't unaccustomed to seeing blood, Or even her blood, It is rare for her own to be spilled. By no means does this mean she is invincible however, Only that as an opponent she seems to be very difficult to deal with.

The seemingly flawless Shinigami however, Has had several indications of weakness. Not in her form or attacks, But in herself. There are rumors circulating about her that she has a 'checkered' past and that the persona she shows to everyone else, Is only a faux mask to hide her true intentions. These rumors, however, Are thoroughly trounced when she reminds them of her loyalty to the Sotaichou and the Gotei, And the fact that she has never once failed the Sotaichou in any direct order given, Regardless of the order. This is likewise with her Gotei Missions. In the last few decades, She has been shown to be getting nearly to the same level as a Fukutaichou, Her Strength, Speed, and Endurance have all seemed to skyrocket as a result of her training. Her training is constant, She hasn't taken a single day off since she recovered after first entering the First Division. She hasn't let her past interfere with her results, And she hasn't allowed her parents to visit her either, Viewing them as weak and pathetic for thinking that she couldn't cut it as a Shinigami. The last time she contacted them was about 50 years ago when she sent them a letter telling them that in the hundreds of years since she ran away, Not once has she come close to death and after becoming a Shinigami, She hadn't once come close to needing medical attention.

- Length:

Sealed her Zanpakuto looks almost as a normal one might, Sitting at a nice 3'8, It's blade is curved starting at the hilt all the way to the tip, Allowing for a swift movement through the air with one or both hands.

Inner World:

Her Inner World is full of buildings, Similar to Ichigo Kurosaki's, Except these buildings are all different. Each one is positioned differently inside her Inner World, Some jutting out of others, Some piercing through others. All in all, Her Inner World looks like chaos in a handbasket. If traveling through the streets of it, One could easily get lost without a guide or previous experience in it.

Zanpakuto Spirit:

Her Zanpakuto Spirit takes the form of a beautiful women in her mid-twenties. She has a generous bust and her body is rather well curved similar to how Kimiko's is. She wears a long white dress that is draped up around her shoulders. Her personality traits are similar to Kimiko's and aside from her appearance, She seems to be an almost exactly duplicate of Kimiko herself. However, Amarante is more violent than Kimiko and would gladly kill an innocent without a second thought or anyone else who stood between her and Kimiko or her and her goal. She would also have no qualms with attack a Taichou without a second thought if they dared to lay a finger on Kimiko.

Shikai Description:

Hilt - The Hilt of her Shikai is curved downwards and split into two seperate parts, Connected at the blade and very back of the hilt. It has 2 intricate design carvings adorning the part closest to the blade and a single intricate design carving towards the back of the hilt.

Guard - The Guard is different from the standard design. Instead of wrapping around the sword between the hilt and blade. Instead it extends from the top part of the hilt and draws back to about half an inch past her hilt. It's the same thickness as the usual guard [about 1-1/2 inches on each side for a total of 3 inches].

Blade - The blade extends to be about 3 Feet 11 Inches. It's design is unique as all Shikai blades are, However it has intricate carving designs lining both sides of the blade from one end to the other and on both the top and bottom of the blades. These carvings and their meanings are unknown to all but her Zanpakuto Spirit and herself. The blade is straight however curves to a natural point as almost all 'Human' swords do.

Functionality:

Her Shikai functions to show off her ruthless combat prowess as well as reflect her own quick movements. Her Shikai was designed specifically to aid her in her own ruthless fighting style and to improve her prowess in fighting even further. Because of how her Shikai functions in combat her Shikai alone has shown itself capable of winning fights without her even moving from the position she started in. Some have said her Shikai resembles Byakuya Kuchiki's Shikai heavily and they would be correct, However her Shikai has been shown to do things even Byakuya Kuchiki's cannot.

Name: Blossom

Description: When blossom is cast, Flower petals begin to materialize, Covering the entire area in seemingly harmless petals that float around and seem to merely obstruct view. This is the catalyst for most of the other Shikai Abilities. These petals move slightly faster then a Cero. These blades have a defense and toughness equal to a Shikai blade. These blossoms can be controlled alone however if they are controlled separate from her abilities, Their speed is noticeably reduced to about half that of a Cero.

Name: Cut Down
Type: Offensive
Range: 30x25 Meters

Description: When used, The petals blossomed by her Blossom begin swirling around rapidly before forming into a line similar to Byakuya Kuchiki's Senbonzakura. However these do not cut, When pulled together by Cut Down, these petals pierce through their target and erupt out of the other side. These last until they are all destroyed however can only be summoned twice per thread.

Name: Devour
Type: Defensive
Range: 10x10 Feet
Cost: 60
Description: Devour erects a shield made of the petals in any location within a 10x10 foot area. When these petals merge into this shield they are the same length and width of Danku (Though weaker). The petals then devour the attack and scatter it in every direction except at the intended target. This can be used at most 3 times per thread.

Name: Army of One
Type: Offensive
Range: 40x40 Meters
Cost: 60
Description: Army of One is a combination attack of 3 different styles. It combines both her physical prowess, Shunpo and the petals (If summoned) from her Blossom. Without the blossom's help, This can only be used twice, However with the help of Blossom, This can be used four times.

Army of One without Blossom - When Army of One is used without the aid of Blossom she uses her Shunpo to move around, Slashing rapidly with her blade at every possible spot on her opponent. Each and everytime her blade connects, Whether its with the opponent or not, She vanishes with Shunpo. This lasts for 60 consecutive slashes (One post, Remember each slash is made then Shunpo is used to move positions) or until interrupted. The area that she appears is almost always 'random' and she never appears in the same spot twice.

Army of One with Blossom - When used with the aid of Blossom, It is very similar however the blades from Blossom are used as a defense, Surrounding her almost completely. The blades whirl around her in such a fashion that any attempted counter-attack would first have to break through their defense. Even if that were to happen, These blades would continue to dance around her, Attempting to cut into anything that would be trying to move through them. As an added bonus, Because they are constantly whirling around her these blades obstruct vision making it hard to aim precise attacks or aim for vital spots.

Character Dynamic:

Physical Analysis - Physically Kimiko is perfect in almost every aspect. Her armor covers most of her vital spots and offers very good protection. She is physically fit and her build is athletic, Offering her maximum protection and mobility all in one package. Defeating her would be difficult for almost anyone who could not aim for the few literal holes in her armor. While her fighting stance and style makes it difficult by itself to actually hit her few exposed area's, Nobody is immune to parries or being outsmarted and many attacks can leave her armor chinks open to attacks. Her armor also doesn't make her immune to Blunt Force Trauma, Meaning even if your attack doesn't appear to have done anything, Repeated attacks to the same spot could cause internal damage.

Spiritual Analysis - Spiritually she is very healthy, Because of her upbringing in the Lesser Noble Family Nobunaga, She boasts a very healthy spiritual relationship with her Zanpakuto Spirit, This also means that her Reiatsu Sensing and Hiding is top notch for her rank, Making her one of the most formidable opponents to fight. This, However, Means she is more susceptible to Reiatsu-Focused attacks. Because of her close connection to her Zanpakuto Spirit and her Reiatsu, Anything that could attack that directly would be much more effective than might otherwise seem.

Mental Analysis - Mentally she is very intelligent and has quick reaction times because of it. Her upbringing as a Lesser Noble has sharpened and honed her intelligence to a razor fine point leaving very few problems or gaps in her knowledge. Because of this, It is almost impossible to outsmart her on equal terms. That being said, This still does not make her immune to illusions, Only that she would be quicker then most to be able to see through them.

Emotional Analysis - Emotionally she appears to be perfectly fine. As a child, She had a perfectly normal life for a Lesser Noble. There is no record of her having lost anyone very close to her in any tragic way though her Mother and Father's Mysterious disappearance when Xiaoyu took the Sotaichou position has some questioning whether or not that has scared her or left her vulnerable.

Group Analysis - In a group, She is most comfortable as the leader. She does not like taking orders from anyone but the Sotaichou however her loyalty to the Gotei and the Sotaichou especially makes it impossible for her to ever want or feel the need to try and overtake the group if placed in one that she is not the leader of. She has some of the best synergy with most groupings and her fighting style makes her ideal to be placed into almost any group situation.

Social Analysis - In a social situation she seems to be perfectly stable. She seems to be completely comfortable speaking to anyone and everyone. She has never turned anyone down when they wished to talk and has often been seen going to social gatherings and meetings simply to meet the people there and converse.

Fighting Style:

In battle, Kimiko has one of the fiercest records of all Soul Society. Her cunning matched with her upbringing and combat experience makes her a deadly warrior in any situation. When she is alone, Her combination attacks, Shikai and overall physical physique makes her difficult for almost anyone to be able to fight, Let alone defeat. In her entire time in the Gotei 13, She has never once been defeated by anyone. It is rumored that she herself is protected by something far greater than what is there physically or spiritually, Some have rumored a guess that Kimiko is protected by some sort of ancient Kidou that her Mother might've bestowed upon her since she has never taken much damage even when she is hit, Which is rare in itself. This however is complete faux and is only a rumor spread around by those who she has defeated.

When fighting any enemy, No matter who it is, She has shown her true fighting nature. She is a cold ruthless killer and is not afraid to slice someone in half or punch a hole through their chest to complete her mission. She has also shown that she will not let anything interfere with her or get in her way regardless of what it is if the order came directly from the Sotaichou. This being said, This means that she has killed hundreds of thousands in her service to Xiaoyu and the Gotei 13. Because of this, Her fighting style has been rumored to be similar to her Father's fighting stance which he dubbed: Thousand Bladed Death. These fighting style was known only to her Father and was so deadly that when used properly, It appeared as though Thousands of blades had sliced through his opponents in mere seconds. This fighting style has not been seen since her Father's mysterious disappearance however.
