Zhan was clearly quite impressed by his Shikai abilities, although Hirato sensed that his reiatsu pressure while his Shikai was released had an adverse effect on Zhan. Hirato thought back to his predecessor's Bankai release. Hirato remembered that day when he felt the full power of Sotaicho Demizu and he had felt as if he was merely a child playing around compared to the strength of a Captain Commander's Bankai. The Captain Commander returned his Zanpakuto to its sealed state with a flick of the wrist, then sheathed the blade. "Forgive me. I forget that my reiatsu pressure while my Shikai is active can overwhelm people weaker than Captain level," Hirato spoke calmly, reassuringly now so that Zhan knew he was not mocking her for her current level of strength. Hirato patted her lightly on the shoulder and smiled kindly before he walked twenty feet away.
The red haired Shinigami decided he was not quite done showing off. Besides, his body was still sore and stiff from sitting in a chair all day. Hirato realized that such an enormous amount of paperwork was just part of the job as the Captain Commander. Even so, he needed to move around and work out his body a bit to relieve his body's stress. "Watch if you can." Hirato commented, then transferred a large amount of reiatsu to his legs. Hirato then used some of his fastest Shunpo steps and moved around the entirety of the training ground. To Zhan, Hirato figured it would appear as if he had disappeared than as if he was creating afterimages with his speed.
Neither of those things had actually happened. Hirato was simply moving extremely fast. Hirato then did indeed create an afterimage but he was using a special Shunpo technique, one he had created himself called *Kakezan*. The Captain Commander used it to create an afterimage, which landed to her left. The real Hirato landed in front of Zhan, specifically ten feet in front of her. "This is Kakezan, a Shunpo technique to create solid afterimages to take damage in place of the real me. I created it myself and only I can use it." Hirato stated simply, as the afterimage moved independently of his own will. The afterimage then looked at Hirato, who snapped his fingers and made the afterimage disappear instantly.
Hirato was done showing off for now....
