It was seemingly a normal day for the first division lieutenant, though she hated to be bored. She was sitting just outside the offices for her and Hirato, dangling her legs over the porch edge. On her lap was the rare sight of her zanpakto. Normally she didn't have it out with her while she was within the seireitei. Due to it looking exactly like the sealed zanpakto of the former member of the 5th division and the late wife of her captain, she kept it hidden in her room. She didn't even show Hirato within battle. For Zero, she just honed her body skills and allowed herself to use her zanpakto only on missions and when she went to the rukongai. When she was within the Civil War, she had made sure to keep her zanpakto hidden from those around her though she fought with vigor and bloodlust due to her Tsukino blood within her veins. Her green hair was cut short; her bangs were long and framed her face. Zero wore the normal attire for a shinigami, though when she is in the world of the living or the rukongai, she wears more normal attire. She hadn't planned anything today except to 'play' with her fellow first division members. There was a reason that she was avoided by most shinigami within the seireitei.
Giggling, Zero ran her hands over the black chains that chained shut her zanpakto. The beautiful black sheath covered an equally black and beautiful blade. It was a strange Zanpakto, but Kaoru always thought it was normal. Zero thought the same, but the black reminded her just how much darkness was within the woman she copied' heart. Kaoru Tsukino was truly a powerful woman, but she was foolish to let light within her heart when all she needed was the darkness. Zero felt disgusted to be a copy of such a weak willed woman, but she did like the DNA from the Tsukino clan. Zero's golden eyes looked over her sheath once more before she closed them and looked within her inner world. It wasn't the same as Kaoru's in the slightest. She wasn't an exact copy. Glimpsing her zanpakto spirit briefly, Zero opened her eyes to see the open space in front of her. The yard had a pond and a nice peaceful scenery. Peace. It was a word that Zero hated. Peace didn't offer her what she wanted most. Then again, Zero had to keep her facade up just enough for her not to get looked at more closely than she already was.
Showing a mastery over her element and her power, Zero had created a small whirlwind within her palm to then send it in front of her over the pond to make the water get sucked up within the air funnel that formed. It then dispersed within the air and showered the green haired young woman as she laughed. Zero was truly carefree and almost child-like. She cared nothing for anybody but herself. Her desires were war and blood; to fight and gain strength. Of course, she withheld this true self from her Captain Commander, but get her riled up enough and one can almost see what was just beneath the surface. Giggling, Zero did it again, but this time she had made it bigger. She had forgotten to do her paperwork for the day (more like purposely forgot) and decided that she needed to cool off more than she needed to work. All work and no play made Jill a dull girl after all.
