When Renko woke up this morning, she didn't expect her world to be turned upside down by a simple hunt. The Kaiser was out on a morning jog when she sensed a mid level hollow within the park. It was a simple matter for her to take care of it, but she wondered why there would be one when she had warned Shidare not to let her creatures within the Kaiser's realm. Sighing, Renko slowed down and patted at her face with the towel around her neck. Her scarlet hair was up in a pony tail with her brown eyes bright with the energy of the run still within her veins. Her breathing slowed to normal. Her heart, still beating fast, let her react as fast as she had when she had to turn tail and run towards the park. There were no other Quincy, trained that is, around to take care of it so she brought it upon herself to take care of it. Renko was her people sword and shield. Her life was theirs and if she had to use her life to protect them, she would do so in a heartbeat. It was the duty and burden of the Kaiser.

Coming upon the park, she noticed a hollow, which she could accurately pin point as a low level arrancar. It looked to be in the shape of a human, but with cat ears and a corresponding tail. She had an eyepatch that she guessed covered the piece of mask that made it look like she had no eye in that socket. She put her hand into her black jogging pants and held onto her Quincy cross. She wore a white and blue tank top that had the Order's symbol on the back of it.

"Nyaaaa?" The Arrancar seemed to purr at her as she made a swiping motion towards Renko. A sly smile on the young woman's face. Cats were always her favorite pet, but seeing one as an arrancar made her stomach turn as if putting cold water over her soul. It seemed...almost as if she was toying with Renko. Was this arrancar stupid? No, even the most dim of them know not to step in her way, much less trying to cause trouble out in the open.

Regardless, Renko decided it was time to take care of the pest before the cat did something that wasn't kosher with the rest of Karakura town. Renko gave chase and wasn't surprised to see the cat run. Her running shoes were perfect for this type of exercise, so she counted herself lucky she ran (quite literally) into the arrancar while she was out for a jog. Thinking this was a normal chase, she quickly found it wasn't such a thing. The cat proved hard to track due to it going in and out of the garganta it created with a swipe of it's claws. Renko pressed on, realizing that her hand to hand capabilities were not going to work in this, she pulled out her Quincy cross to aim at a distance.

"You can't run anymore, Arrancar!" Renko cried loudly as she used some reishi footholds to keep within the air longer. Her bow was drawn back fully, but as her fingers started to let go of the string she heard another voice by her. It was the cat.

"Nyaaaaa? Oh but it's so much more fun in Hueco Mundo, won't you join me?" A purr whispered nearby. Renko's eyes widened as she heard the voice by her ear. Why hadn't she noticed the cat move? There was something strange about that cat. Quick as a flash, the claws of the cat reached out in front of Renko and opened another Garganta. Renko was taken off guard, she hadn't noticed the cat reach over and dig her claws into Renko's shoulder, eventually throwing her into the Garganta. The last thing she noticed was the grinning face of the cat Arrancar before the Garganta swallowed her whole.

Darkness swallowed her until she was thrown from the garganta and onto a large sand dune. Coughing from the impact, Renko pulled herself to her knees. Pain laced her shoulder as a warmth dripped down her arm and onto the sand. It was red, though it looked dull in the Hueco Mundo moonlight. Standing up fully, she touched her shoulder and noticed it looked slightly shredded. Renko winced as the pain ran along her shoulder and into her arm where the muscle was slightly torn. "Stupid cat.....was throwing me into Hueco Mundo really necessary?!" Renko growled to nobody. The cat was gone much like the cheshire in Alice in Wonderland.

"Great....how am I going to get back now? My sun gate needs to be open from the other side in order for me to use it...." The Kaiser muttered to herself as she used her reishi stitches to keep the wound together and start to heal. She started to plan her escape while also being aware she was standing in a world full of Quincy poison. After all...Hollows were poison for Quincy and can infect them with their reishi to kill them. She needed a way back quickly.

The Queen of the Sands was soaking on the perch atop the white stone structure that she called home. Baking within the endless moonlight of Hueco Mundo. She had been doing what she could to uphold the bargain reached with the Kaiser of the Quincy upon Earth. When hollows near her would turn to leave she made certain to know that her hunting grounds were off limits. When asked where her hunting grounds where she would smirk and tell them that the town the Quincy called home was hers. So, stay out of the area unless they wish to become her feast upon their return. Most listened to her warnings but a few foolhardy had tried and where instantly cut down either by the Quincy, Shinigami, or fullbringer that awaited them on the human world side of things or by her own blade upon their return.

Yet today was unusual as she had felt one of the stronger Arrancar that existed heading along with a small pack of hollows into a garganta. This piqued her interest as the cat was a solitary hunter a lot like herself. Slithering out she would feel their destination which was Karakura Town. Most in the sands knew it as Shidare’s personal hunting grounds. Fury and anger swelled within her and she would be getting ready to rip open a garganta and deal with this traitorous arrancar when she felt her slipping in and out of gargantas as she does when she is fighting someone. Standing up to her full height she would move to head into the air over the greater section of the sands she felt this in and out game of cat and mouse.

It was when a sudden burst came through and a strange presence made themselves known upon the sands by their blood being spilt did she know who the cat had been fighting. The very Kaiser she had played with herself a few months earlier. Despite this fact she knew she would have to act quickly otherwise some of the more ‘unsavory’ of the hollows might try to dig their claws into the soft white flesh of the Kaiser. So she would be moving toward her with a quick succession of sonido steps. Stopping about thirty feet or so behind Renko. Releasing her power as she did so more or less to tell her who it was that approached her even before words would hit her ears.

“Hello again my dear Kaiser… What have I done to get this house call of sorts from you? Did you get lost within your little sun gates paths? Or did someone outsmart you and trick you into entering my domain?” Her tongue clicked against her teeth as she was slowly walking toward Renko. Excitement exuded around her as she was ready should Renko turn this into a full born fight. Yet for her just having a guest that she was not immediately going to try and kill and consume was exhilarating.

Perhaps it was the moment she hit the sand that alerted her to the hollows attention around her, or perhaps it was the power she sensed since being thrown into the eternal moonlight. Touching her shoulder lightly, Renko held her fingers close to her shoulder to heal it using some of the reishi she had held within her hands normally. Manipulating the reishi in her palm, she made it so that she sped up the process of the cells regenerating and healing in her shoulder so that the bleeding would stop and the reishi stitches she made could start to heal the wound. It wasn't bad, she had worse, but she couldn't take the risk of getting poisoned by some of the reishi from the hollows. Sighing, she looked around to find silence. The cat was nowhere in sight.

Tch... Renko thought with annoyance. Of course once she traps me here she runs off without a thought to even trying to have a fair fight.

Renko started to walk forward a bit, her shoes crunching on the sand underneath her feet. The arrancar wouldn't have been able to make it past one of her strong right hooks, though she never would know the extent to the woman's power since she ran off. However, some part of Renko thought that she might be close by to keep an eye on the Kaiser. Regardless, Renko decided it was best to find a way back. Some of her ancestors must have left some pieces of the sun gate here should something like this happen. Renko wasn't certain since it was almost forbidden for Quincy to come to Hueco Mundo without shinigami assistance. Besides, Renko had kept her people out of the Hollows territory to protect them and offer none of the arrancar any reason to intrude upon their own realm.

As if on cue, the strong presence that Renko felt earlier had moved and became more apparent with each step. She didn't need to turn around to know that it was Shidare Sun, the Arrancar who had fought with her earlier in the month. Renko's wounds had healed, she had always been a fast healer, but her body hadn't forgotten the sharpness of her claws and her scales. Silently Renko turned to face the woman, her eyes narrowing as she stood up straighter when facing her. The Kaiser suppressed a small growl as Shidare guessed at what brought her here and one of them was almost correct. She would not give Shidare the pleasure of mocking her. Renko smirked back at her, covering her hatred of hollows with sass.

"You broke our deal, Reyes." Renko stated, her tone hiding none of her annoyance. How she wished to kill that cat that brought her here. "One of your arrancar were hunting within my territory and I came to punish the cat." Renko's stance was strong, her tone that of the commanding Kaiser. This was the Kaiser that many feared and respected. She would not be outdone by a snake. "Or....can you not control your people?" It was a challenge, a stupid one, but Renko was angry that she was stuck here and that she had arrancar still coming to her territory.

“I never broke the agreement. I held myself back and ate only other hollows here within Hueco Mundo. I stood back and attempted to keep other arrancar from travelling to Karakura. Some however do not listen to me. Do not blame me for the actions of other arrancar.” Shidare would speak as she would move and land upon the sand. Drinking in the air and the smell of the sand she would look toward her with a smile upon her face.

“If you tell me which of the arrancar I will do nothing but slaughter them upon their return. As for control… I control them through fear and if they are not listening to that then I leave them alone to be slaughter by you and your kin.” Speaking normally she would drop her hands to her side and her claws would clatter outward as she looked at her. The fact that she was looking over Renko and licking her lips. It was obvious that she was thinking a few things rather quickly.

Spinning her heel, she would look at the sand for a few moments as she would quickly raise her gaze to look right at her. “Shall we dance once more? If you do let me do this then perhaps I could let you out of this hell?”

Renko could almost feel Shidare's eyes pin her to her place on the sands. It was as if the predator was hunting her already and they had yet to even move against each other yet. The Fox wasn't to be outdone, but she had to be sure not to entice the Snake into another fight. As much as her Quincy blood wanted nothing more than to erase Shidare from existence with her bow, she knew better than to pick fights she wasn't sure she would be able to walk away from. Reasoning was not on her agenda today, she had no reason to do so. However, the fact that one of the arrancar, albeit a low level one, had felt comfortable to play in the human world within her territory, made her uncomfortable. It was becoming irritating for Renko by the second; she was stuck here and had no way back.

"It was a cat arrancar, I don't know who she was, but I doubt she'll make an appearance around you if you are as fearsome as you say you are," Renko mused out loud as she moved her hands to her side where her Quincy Cross hung down from her wrist. "As their leader, you should take responsibility for your people's actions. While what they do is by their own mind and hand, it is the leaders job and responsibility to make an example. If they don't listen to you, then are you truly their leader?" It wasn't the best way to make a point, but Renko was too annoyed at being stuck to figure she should mince her words a bit more to suit the problematic situation she was in.

Renko listened as Shidare made a sort of deal to her. Dance? Perhaps in order to get out of the Snakes nest, she had to play by the snakes rules. It wasn't the best or ideal situation, but nobody within Soul Society knew she was there, nor anybody in the Order, so she would have to fight her way out of it by playing with Shidare. Luckily she was in her exercise clothes and would be able to move around pretty easily in them. Renko looked upon Shidare with some suspicion. "....So if I play with you, you will let me out of here?" There was some dark edges to her tone, but nothing against Shidare personally, just some annoyance over the situation. "Considering nobody else knows i'm here, I suppose there would be no other choice." Renko's eyes hardened as she looked over at Shidare; she just wanted to go home and sleep before her meetings for both the hospital and her Order.

“A cat… I do know that one. I will handle them the next time they return home to the sands… Unless you would want her delivered to you on a silver platter as it where?” Shidare spoke a smirk crossing the lips of the Queen. For her tracking down someone was easy. As a snake she had learned to survive within the sands itself. So she could easily slip back into the sands whenever it was needed and hunt.

Listening to Renko speak out about how she should take responsibility for those beneath her she would laugh. As to Shidare these people where not her vassals. More to her they were just there to amuse her. Amuse and to die for her needs and sustenous. “She does not listen as she considers herself Isis. You know the old god of Egyptian fame I believe you humans called them. Yet she considers herself above the realm of queens and Kaisers.”

Her smirk twisted into a snarled grin as Renko began to speak about playing with Shidare. “It is most important because no one knows that you are here. I really am the only way out of here so I would be the only way out of here for you. So yes if you play with me I swear on my honor as a queen to let you go. Heck I will even place you on the balcony of your very own Kaiser office if you so wish.”

Moving herself in such a way to show off most of her curves she pulled the blade out from her holster. Turning she placed it into the sand hilt facing up. “First to land a hard enough blow to knock the other down for a three count wins. No matter who wins I will send you home after. Understood?”

She spoke and slunk around her eyes wandering and sticking upon a few points on Renko. Making short work of this would not be all that fun for her. So she would figure out that this was going to drag out and enjoy this.

Of course Shidare would know that arrancar and the arrancar would be as such. Though her words about said individual did not make her relieved. They simply brought her a sense of unease over the fact that Shidare found it so easy to kill or capture so that her opponent could kill off her own person. In Renko's eyes, she did not care who took care of the arrancar, it was simply a matter of safety for her people and the human world. Hubris or not, the arrancar was a problem if she felt the need to poke in and out of the garganta at will regardless of her Queen's orders. "No, I will leave her to you unless she decides to show her face in my territory again." Renko's voice sounded with a bit of distaste over the metaphor. Renko did not kill for the sport of it, only out of necessity. "I trust you will keep her out of my hair in the time, goddess-aspire or not, she is a problem." The Kaiser felt a chill run down her spine as if someone had walked over her grave. She knew the sudden charge in the air with their combined reitsu's would be problematic for the human world, so running into Shidare here was better than it could have been. Less damage. "After all, you don't want someone to topple your empire, right?" Renko looked at Shidare with a raised eyebrow, but merely looked away towards the castle within Hueco Mundo with a disinterested look. Though the thought of having another opponent, especially one that was deluded into thinking themselves a goddess, was not appealing.

As a wind blew past her, Renko shuddered again, but this time it came with a memory of after she had fought Shidare and Hirato paid her a visit at her home. He had asked her to care more about her life. She tried, but duty got in the way and she gave it over willingly to her people. She thought of herself as their sword and shield; she would fight so they wouldn't have to. His almost pleading blue eyes burned into her memory as she walked away from him that night, ignoring his words as he tried to reason with her and not fight Shidare by herself again. There was a momentary flash of something Renko could not identify within his gaze, rather...something she refused to identify. Her eyes closed for a moment, opening slowly again with a sad expression morphing into a determined one. "I"m sorry, Hirato-san..." Renko said quietly, simply, as she focused the reitsu within her body into her fists and her feet, transferring the rest around her body to strengthen it and protect it.

"Fine, I accept your terms," The Kaiser felt like she was signing her death contract. Since the two of them were on almost equal levels, Renko knew this wasn't going to be easy. She had to pace herself in order to not run out of reitsu. However, in Hueco Mundo, reitsu made up everything, she really didn't want to have to absorbe any hollow reitsu within her body. It was poison to her race. If she really needed it, she had a card up her sleeves to help her should things get worse than intended. However, it really depended upon how determined Shidare was wanting to play with her.

Renko moved her body forward a bit as she kept her Quincy Cross on her wrist just in case. Hand to hand combat was what she was good at, as well as reitsu manipulation, but should Shidare start to use her speed against Renko, the Kaiser might have a hard time keeping up. Subtly she pushed off with her right foot, keeping her body low so that she could gain a better entrance into Shidare's personal zone. She glanced quickly to the body of the Reyes and assessed certain points of possible contact. As soon as Renko got up close and personal to Shidare, she pushed off to do a quick flip in the air before bringing her leg down to try and smash Shidare with raw physical power. Quickly after she did her leg drop, she followed it by turning her body around quickly to twist into a spinning kick while her hands held her from off the ground. The reitsu within her legs and feet would be enough for now to keep her moving quickly.

“Then I will be taking care of the cheshire cat when she returns. I will make her wish she had never crossed into the human world. And I do not wish to have someone to topple me. Yet I would not want someone to even attempt to do such. Plus it would help to make an ally here that can actually back up the words spoken now is it not?” Shidare spoke with certainty and with a conviction that the Kaiser would know is not hubris but a promise. Yet as things were going there seemed to be an air around the Kaiser. For her it was interesting how these people formed attachments and how those seemed to control them.

Those type of things always intrigued her as she had never really felt such things. Yet there was that nagging feeling that always bit at the back of her mind since she had regained her consciousness. Was she truly evolved beyond the creatures of the sands if she was unable to do this most basic of things. Inside of her eyes but for a moment was a short bit of sadness that Renko would be able to pickup on if she looked into her eyes.

Despite that she did straighten up her stance as the Kaiser accepted her terms. Well the terms for their fight. Tody she would play things the way that the Kaiser wanted to. As the Kaiser closed in on her from directly forward the fight it seemed was on. Her own stance gave her a limited avenue to escape but she was on her home field. So this would be a fight that she could have.

The combination strike from Renko caught her a little off guard and Shidare took the blows dead on before she could counterattack. Slamming herself down she managed to catch herself in the sand and push off and straight up using just her upper body strength and spiritual pressure. Spinning in the air she landed about twenty feet from Renko. A slight smirk on her face as a trickle of blood came from a mark on her forehead.

With a slight hum in the air she used her speed to close the distance and instead of using her claws like she had the last time they had met instead she used her fists. Swinging in a set of rapid fire jabs to Renko’s stomach. As the last of the punches connected she opened her palm and grasped her shirt tugging her directly into the path of her other arm and a lariat aimed to take Renko off her feet.

Adrenaline pulsed through her body like water surging through pipes. The waves of energy from the thought of herself possibly dying brought up a side of Renko that she didn't often bring out in front of those around her, no matter if they knew her well enough or not. For the character flaw that Renko came to terms with within her life was her need to put herself into situations that bring about danger to her life. She portrayed a sense of calm and sly strength on the outside so that everyone could see. In reality she was as emotionally weak as the others; she couldn't fill the void that was in her heart and so she decided to throw herself into everything she could around her to hide from the pain she felt on the daily. It was the reason she kept becoming the sword and shield for her people in battles. She figured that she could take the damage while sparing them the pain and loss of war. It was a fools errand, her weakness, and it would someday kill her if she couldn't find the strength to move past her empty void. Renko's eyes flashed as she moved, the old spark that was her former youth became the fire within her eyes as she exchanged blows with Shidare.

Then Renko made the mistake to look into Shidare's eyes for just a moment before all hell broke loose. Was that sadness? She didn't know, but it brought about a familiar sense of pain within Renko's heart. Growling with her annoyance over having such pain yet again, Renko dived back into her pit of self-destruction. There was nobody here to stop her from going all out. Let's be honest, the only other person who could really stop her at the moment was probably the Captain Commander or one of the high level shinigami or high level Quincy in Karakura, but they weren't here so she was able to go deep into her tendencies.

The next moment Renko looked up, she saw Shidare smirk at her. Her blows were ineffective to keep the snake down. Renko wasn't foolish, she knew it would take more than that to down the Reyes. She didn't see Shidare move for a moment, and that moment of hesitation on her part and speed on Shidare's part, was what it took to slam Renko with the force of the Reyes' power punches. Grunting with the force that slammed into her stomach with the punches, Renko tried to turn and stumble back to catch herself. However, Shidare was coming at her fast, making it hard for Renko to react in the correct way without causing some damage. Well, considering her feelings towards her own safety, Renko left the gloves off before she even started this fight. Renko felt herself being pulled fast towards Shidare. She acted fast, letting the momentum of the pull be her guide as she concentrated reitsu into her hand, sharpening it as she shaped it into a dagger with her hand as the medium.

Slicing upwards at first, she brought her hand down in a stabbing motion towards Shidare's throat. At the same time, Renko hand straddled Shidare and forced a tackle on the woman to try and get her to the ground. However, with the reitsu building up around Renko, she sharpened it too much so that her whole body ended up being the medium instead. This normally woudn't be a problem, but the adrenaline mentioned earlier had pushed past her power limiters and began to make the reitsu around Renko glow a white hot white and become like a thousand knives. At the last part of her counter, she raised her other hand to form a fist and bring it slamming down towards Shidare.
